All I got done in the hand stitching area this past month is one and a half little buds on this 3030 block. There are only 5 more weeks of blocks to be released including the outside border and final setting.
Now if that is not slow stitching, I wonder what is?
I did this during a business meeting last Sat. Now to complete the last bud and get the flowers back-basted on then the leaves.
My OMG for November is to complete at least 20 of these.
However, there are no applique blocks in this quilt. I wonder if I could find or create some?
Not holding my breath about that.
That's about it for this week. Linking up with Kathy at Slow Sunday Stitching.

Great idea to make a goal of finishing these blocks. I wish I would work on mine. If we are allowed to have our winter quilt retreat I think that will be my main project (again!)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your hand stitching and thanks for sharing with the Slow Sunday Stitching crew!
Great projects!
ReplyDeleteYou have truly abided by the truest sense of the term 'slow stitching'. =) No matter, every little stitch helps. I love the look of those Canadian Woman blocks.
ReplyDeleteHow do people react to you stitching in meetings. I wonder because I have done the same, and yet, I have heard derogatory comments about some who do handwork in other meetings. I do not understand why it is socially bad to successfully multitask. One meeting I was in was a complete waste of my time. Mothing they talked about pertained to me.
ReplyDeleteNeat projects, wonderful stitching.
