My one-monthly-goal for January was to compete the last applique blocks and assemble the top of my Dear Daughter quilt. And I got it done tonight.
But how did I manage to do this??
Not only did I miss that seam by a 1/4 inch,
I put 2 of the same red prints together.
Devan had one final block
switch the other night.
I will fix that then give this a really good press as soon as I find my really big ironing board. And an iron that the steam works on. I dropped my favourite iron and cannot steam with it.
Then all that needs doing before I quilt it next week is clearing off a gzillion bits of thread. Where are the little girls with the scissors when I need them?
