Robin hand quilting a Double Irish Chain wedding quilt for her daughter. She is using a 360 degree rotating wooden hoop on a pedestal and sitting on a stool. Sometimes she quilts standing up because she is short and likes to keep moving.

I only got a few stitches in CCCQ # 28, probably because I was talking enjoying myself so much

Your machine crosshatching looks really good, Chris! Are you travelling along the applique between lines?
ReplyDeleteI initially started the cross hatching and followed the curves of the applique until the next line. But could not do that with the feathers block so then just outlined the appliques first then did the lines. It is not much fun. It becomes a game every time I have to figure out where to change directions trying to keep a continuous line going. Often end up in the middle and have to end it. Sometimes I find that I have traveled over the same cure 3 times. But I am learning and progressing.
DeleteSounds like so much fun! I spy Tim Hortons!!
