I love making goals. I love making plans. I love making lists. I love dreaming about the possibilities. But I need some accountability to follow through on those goals and plans. When we canceled our plans for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration last April, I pretty much stopped working on the 50th Anniversary Quilt aka Ella. This is what it looked like the last time I put it up on the big design wall.
Blessings,
Chris

Hope we can see Ella in the background tomorrow......
ReplyDeleteLovely and good luck with your Jan finish…
ReplyDeleteFive blocks a month is so doable ..... baby steps, baby steps ..... you can do it!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be such a beautiful quilt! Directional fabric is lovely but can be annoying to cut the correct way. Happy stitching in the New Year!
ReplyDeleteYou've got this Chris! I know you will get Ella completed this year one way or another!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great goal. Wonderful quilt
ReplyDeleteYour Ella Anniversary quilt is so stunning, it deserves to be your first finish of 2022. I am rooting for you, Chris! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for completing your One Monthly Goal, Chris. The blocks you've finished are beautiful! I'm sure they take a while to make.
ReplyDeleteIt will be amazing!

ReplyDeleteso gorgeous!
I am right there with you on my Ella quilt. I was keeping up until my sewing machine had to go to the repair shop and it took 2 months to get the part needed. Mine is still up on my design wall, topped with the smaller project I'm now working on. I think I only have four more blocks to complete them all...the sewing together of this immense quilt really overwhelms me so that is not helping me get back to it!
Good luck with yours, again, its beautiful!
Loving goals, plans, and lists - oh how can I relate. We are much alike in that regard.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is so stunning that I am pleased to see it as your One Monthly Goal!!!
I look forward to watching this lovely quilt grow :)
